Life in Christ

And the Lord God formed man
of the dust of the ground
and breathed into his nostrils
the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

597 b c, in exile, Ezekiel said,
The heavens opened, and I saw visions of God:

A whirlwind came out of the north,
a great cloud, and a fire enfolding itself,
and a brightness was about it the color of amber.
There were awesome 4-winged beings of light,
and above the space that was over their heads
was a sapphire throne
on which sat the fiery amber gemstone form of a man
flashing forth rainbows.

4
This was the appearance of the glory of the Lord.
Ezekiel 1:26-28

Infinitely powerful, He spoke creation into being. By the word of the Lord were the heavens made;
and all the host of them
by the breath of his mouth. He gathered the waters of the sea together as a heap: He lay up the depth in storehouses. Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
For He spoke, and it was done.

5
He commanded, and it stood fast.

Psalm 33:6,9

Man followed evil, bringing death,
and the great love of God
promised to send His only Son to reverse it all.
For God so loved the world
that He gave His only Son
that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but has everlasting life. John 3:16

When the fullness of the time came God sent forth His Son. Galatians 4:4

6
In the country shepherds
were guarding their flock at night.
The angel of the Lord came upon them,
and the glory of the Lord surrounded them:
and they were terrified
The angel said, Don’t be afraid,
I bring you news of great joy for all people.
Born to you, today, is the Savior
who is Christ the Lord.
Luke 2:8-11
The greatest gift ever given.
God so loved the world that He gave’
…the greatest being that could ever exist
was given to us.

7
He lived 33 perfect years
without one wrong thought or deed.
He exposed all the lies of evil,
walked on water, healed every sickness
and deformity, raised the dead.

The night of His arrest
He prayed to the Father,
I have glorified you on the earth:
I have finished the work you gave Me to do.’

 John 17:4

Then, He allowed Himself to be arrested,
beaten beyond recognition,
and nailed to a cross

8
hanging naked between heaven and earth;
and there received in His human body
all the wrath of His holy Father
for every sin of the universe that had been or could ever be.

Then He cried, It is finished!

Death conquered, evil defeated!
The greatest news the universe ever received.

Jesus of Nazareth,
a man approved of God among you
by miracles and wonders and signs,
which God did by Him in your midst,

9
as you yourselves also know:

Him, being delivered by the pre-determined counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by wicked hands and crucified and killed:

But God raised Him up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible
that He could be held by it.

This Jesus God raised up
and exalted to the right hand of God.

Acts 2:22-33

The heaven is My throne,
and the earth is My footstool.

until I make Your enemies Your footstool.

Don’t let your heart be troubled.
In My Father's house are many mansions.
I go to prepare a place for you.
I will come again and receive you to Myself,
that where I am, you will be.

 John 14:1-3
11
When the Son of man will come in His glory,

and all the holy angels with Him,
then He will sit on the throne of His glory:
And all nations will be gathered before Him
and He will separate them
as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.
And He will set the sheep on His right side,
but the goats on the left.
Then the King say to those on His right side,
Come, you blessed of My Father,
inherit the kingdom prepared for you

12
from the foundation of the world.’

Matthew 25:31-34
All things are yours.
This is why pursuing ‘things’ is a waste of time.
 They are already given
before the foundation of the world.

1 Corinthians 3;21-23

The One who made everything
is with us.

The eternal fountain of everything amazing
and wonderful
that could ever be,
never leaves us or forsakes us.
13

Without Him, nothing exists.

The Lord says of man in Isaiah 43:7
I made man for My glory.
That Christ may dwell in your hearts
by faith;
that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

will comprehend with all saints
what is the breadth, and length, and depth,
and height (the infinite and eternal nature of Him,
His power, genius, grace, beauty, righteousness, justice, goodness, innocence, purity-every good thing.

14
He is the infinite fountain of it.)

And to know the love of Christ,
which passes knowledge,
so you will be filled with all the fullness of God.
 Ephesians 3:17-19
Look to Jesus,
Who for the joy that was set before Him
endured the cross, despising the shame,
and is set down at the right hand
of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2

I in them and you in Me,
that they may be one in Us. John 17:21-23

as you have done, it will be done to you:

for the kingdom is the Lord's.
Obadiah 1:15, 21

In that day the Lord of all
will be a crown of glory, and a diadem of beauty,
to His people. Isaiah 28:5

O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness:
fear before Him, all the earth.
3
Say among the nations, the Lord reigns:
He will judge the people righteously.
Let the heavens and the earth rejoice;
let the sea roar, and its fullness.

Let the field be joyful
and all the trees of the wood,
before the Lord,
for He comes to judge the earth rightly.
Psalm 96

The blessed and only Potentate,
the King of kings, and Lord of lords.

4
And whosoever calls on the name of the Lord
will be saved. Acts 2:10-14

For your Maker is your husband,
the God of the whole earth. Isaiah 54:5

I saw in the night visions
one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven
to the Eternal One
who gave Him the kingdom,
so that all people and nations will serve Him:
His kingdom is an everlasting dominion,

5
that can never be destroyed.

Daniel 7:13,14
All power in heaven and earth is given to Me,
said Jesus in Matthew 28:18.

The stars will fall from heaven,
and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Then all will see the Son of man
coming in the clouds of heaven
with power and great glory.

And He will send His angels
with a great sound of a trumpet

6
to gather His own from the four winds,
from one end of heaven to the other.

Matthew 24:29-31

When the Son of man comes in His glory,
and all the holy angels with Him,
He will sit on the throne of His glory.
And all nations will be gathered before Him.
And He will separate them
as a shepherd divides His sheep from the goats
and will set the sheep on His right,
but the goats on the left.

7
Then the King will say to those
on His right hand,
Come, you blessed of My Father,
inherit the kingdom prepared for you
from the foundation of the world:

for I was hungry and you gave me food.
I was thirsty, and you gave me drink:
I was a foreigner, and you took me in,
naked, and you clothed me,
sick and in prison and you visited Me.
The righteous will ask,

8
When did we do these things?
And the King will answer, Truly,
when you do it to one of the least of these My brothers,
you have done it to Me.

Then He will say to those on the left,
Depart from Me, you cursed,
into everlasting fire,
prepared for the devil and his angels.
Truly, since you gave no help
to the least of these, you didn’t help Me.

9
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment:
but the righteous into life eternal.
Matthew 25:31-46

your Redeemer.

but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
Ephesians 5:31-32

He chose us in Him
before the foundation of the world,
to be holy and without blame before Him in love:

11

To the praise of the glory of His grace,
in which He made us accepted in the beloved:
(received with joyful delight)

in whom we have redemption
through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

For with You is the fountain of life:
in Your light we see light.

that are in heaven, and earth, in Him:
Ephesians 1:5, 9, 10

forever:
all who will are included,
none left out, all in Him

14
whom He appointed heir of all things,
by whom also He made the worlds:
who being the brightness of His glory,
and the exact image of His person,
and upholding all things by His power,
when he had, by Himself,

cleansed our sins,
sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. Hebrews 1:1-3

Who says, I will come
and receive you to Myself

In Eternal Glory

The Body of Christ

When Jesus ascended on high,

He led captivity captive and gave gifts to men.

Ephesians 4:8

www.truthofhim2.com.

When Adam ate the forbidden fruit,

that handed over to the title deed to earth

to God’s enemy.

At the cross,

 Jesus took it back.

Now is the judgment of this world:

now the prince of this world is cast out.

And I, if I be lifted up from the earth

(crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension)

will draw all men to Me.

John 12:31,32

I drew them with bands of love:

I took off the ropes of evil

3

(their own pride and all the rules of the world,

the flesh and the devil,)

and fed them

(with the bread of life).

Hosea 11:4

For God so loves the world

that He gave His only Son,

that whosoever believes in Him

will not perish but has everlasting life.

John 3:16

Now about spiritual gifts, brothers,

I want you to know that

no man speaking by the Spirit of God

calls Jesus cursed:

and no man can say that Jesus is the Lord,

except by the Holy Spirit.

4

There are varieties of gifts,

but the same Spirit.

And there are different applications

but the same Lord.

The same God works all in all,

to profit everyone: wisdom or knowledge,

or miracles, or healings, or prophecies,

or discerning of spirits, or tongues,

or interpretation of tongues,

all by the Spirit,

as He wills.

For as the body is one,

and has many parts,

all the parts make up one body,

so also is Christ.

5

By one Spirit

we are all baptized into one body,

so the eye can’t say because I am not a hand

I’m not in the body.

Now you are the body of Christ.

And God set some in the church,

 first apostles, second prophets,

third teachers, after that, miracles,

then gifts of healings, helps,

governments, tongues.

Are all apostles? do all work miracles?

do all heal?

6

I will show you the more excellent way:

Though I speak with the tongues of men

and of angels, and don’t have love,

or the gift of prophecy, and all knowledge;

and though I have all faith,

so that I could remove mountains,

or give all my goods to feed the poor,

and don’t have love, it profits me nothing.

Love suffers long and is kind;

love doesn’t envy.

7

love doesn’t flaunt itself.

It’s not puffed up.

It doesn’t behave unbecomingly,

isn’t selfish, isn’t easily provoked,

doesn’t think evil, doesn’t rejoice in iniquity

but rejoices in the truth.

Love bears all things, believes all things,

hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails

Prophecies are fulfilled.

Tongues will cease because the Lord will turn all earth to one pure language.

 Zephaniah 3:9

8

Personal knowledge will be inactive

in being one with the One knows everything.

For we know in part,

and we prophesy in part.

But when the perfect One comes,

then the part will be inactive.

When I was a child,

I spoke as a child,

I understood as a child,

I thought as a child: b

ut when I became a man,

I left idle childish things.

For now we see through a mirror, obscurely;

9

but then face to Face:

now we know in part;

but then we will know as we are known.

Words in a book don’t know us

but the Lord

even has the hairs of our head numbered.

Matthew 10:30

We have a high priest,

who is sitting at the right hand of the throne

of the Majesty in the heavens

serving the sanctuary,

the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched,

10

and not man.

The earthly tabernacle

being a shadow of heavenly things.

Hebrews 8:5

Jesus is the mediator of a better covenant,

established on better promises.

For the first made nothing perfect.

But the second says, I will write My law (love) in their hearts.

Galatians 5:14

I will be merciful to their unrighteousness,

and their sins and iniquities

I will never remember.

11

Because He is eternal He saves

 to infinity and eternity

those that come to God by him,

seeing He ever lives to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25

Holy, harmless, undefiled,

separate from sinners, higher than the heavens,

with His love that never fails.

By one sacrifice perfected forever

those being sanctified,

thoroughly cleansing forever

the universe to come

 from all hate, sin, sadness,

harm, and evil.

12

Thus, forever undoing all the works of evil.

Healing forever in Himself

the split caused by the fall.

I in them and You in Me,

that they may be one in Us.  John 17:21-23

That all may be forever

filled with all the fullness of God.

 Ephesians 3:19

This rich glory

of His inheritance in the saints:

showing the exceeding greatness

of His power toward us who believe,

13

that He worked in Christ,

when He raised Him from the dead,

and set Him at His own right hand

in the heavenly places,

and put all things under his feet,

and set Him as head over the church,

which is His body (us),

the fullness of Him that fills all in all.

Ephesians 1:18-23

14

The Creator and Lord of all,

invites all, Come to Me

all who are weary and loaded down

and I will give you

the rest of My Eternal Love.

Matthew 11:28-30, Jeremiah 31:3

I will come again and receive you to Myself

that where I am you will be also.

John 14:3

The Lord is Life

I am the way, the truth and the life

John 14:6

www.truthofhim.com.

Jesus said, There are some standing here who will not taste of death, until they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.

And after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John, up a high mountain and was transfigured before them. His clothes glistened whiter than snow and Moses and Elijah were there talking with Jesus.

Peter said, Master, let’s make 3 dwelling here: one for You, one for Moses,

3

and one for Elijah. While he was speaking a cloud overshadowed them and a voice out of the cloud said,

This is My beloved Son: hear Him.

Mark 9:1-7

4

In God's hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind. Job 12:10

God that made the world and all things in it,

seeing that He is Lord of heaven and earth,

doesn’t dwell in temples made with hands;

He isn’t worshipped with men's hands,

as though He needed anything,

seeing He gives to all life, and breath, and all things;

and made of one blood all nations and set their times

5

and boundaries of their nations in a way

that they would seek the Lord and find Him,

though He isn’t far from every one of us:

For in Him we live, and move, and have our being;

For we are His offspring.

Since we are the offspring of God,

we shouldn’t think He is like gold, or silver, or stone, carved by man's artwork.

God overlooked this in times past,

but now commands all men everywhere turn to Him

6

for He has set a day,

when He will judge the world in rightly

by that man whom ordained;

and guaranteed this to all men

by raising Him from the dead.

Acts 17:24-31

Jesus, weary from His journey,

sat on Jacob’s well

and said to a woman of Samaria

who came out to draw water, Give me a drink?

She said, You, being a Jew, ask me, a Samaritan? Jesus said, If You knew the gift of God,

7

and who it is that asks you, you would ask Him,

and He would give you living water.

Whosoever drink the water of this well

will thirst again:

but whosoever drinks the water

that I give him

will never thirst;

but the water that I give

will be in him

a well of water springing up

into everlasting life.

John 4:6-14

The hand of the Lord was upon me,

and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord,

He said, Can these bones live?

Say to these bones, Hear the word of the Lord:

I will cause breath to enter you,

and you will live.

I will cover you with flesh,

and put breath in you,

and you will live:

and you will know that I am the Lord.

I will open your graves

and put My Spirit on you.

and you will live. Ezekiel 37:1-14

9

This is the same Spirit He breathes

into each one at birth.

He is the power of all life.

With long life I will satisfy him

and show him My salvation.

Strengthened with His glorious power,

to all patience and long suffering with joy:

Giving thanks to the Father,

who has made us fit to share the inheritance

of the saints in light:

Who delivered us from the power of darkness,

and transferred us

into the kingdom of His dear Son:

In whom we have redemption through His blood,

the forgiveness of sins:

Who is the image of the invisible God,

for by Him all things were created.

And He is before all things,

and by Him all things are held together.
